Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the nippocrat.com website and all studio services provided by One Hot Yoga ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the website or attending any class, workshop or event at our studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing a membership or class pack, booking a session or simply browsing nippocrat.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the revised version will be effective as soon as it is posted on this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Studio Use

All participants must arrive at least ten minutes before their scheduled class. Late arrivals may be refused entry at the instructor's discretion, particularly for heated sessions where opening the studio door disrupts temperature and the experience of other participants. You must bring your own towel and water bottle to every heated class. Mats and props are available for use in the studio but should be wiped down with the cleaning solution provided after each session.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or inconsistent with a respectful studio environment. Shoes must be removed before entering the practice space, and mobile phones must be switched to silent mode.

3. Memberships and Payments

Memberships are offered on a recurring billing cycle — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — as selected at the time of purchase. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method at the start of each billing period. All prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.

Class packs are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase. Unused classes in an expired pack are forfeited unless a written extension has been granted by our team. Introductory or promotional offers are limited to one per person and may not be combined with other discounts.

We use a PCI-compliant payment gateway to process transactions. We do not store full credit card details on our servers. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains current; failed payments may result in suspension of your membership until the outstanding amount is settled.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring membership at any time by giving us at least seven days' written notice before the next billing date. Notice can be provided via email to one@nippocrat.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you will continue to have access until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing cycle.

Individual class bookings may be cancelled up to four hours before the scheduled start time without penalty. Cancellations made less than four hours before, or no-shows, will result in the class being deducted from your pack or a late-cancellation fee being applied.

5. Health and Safety

Yoga, Pilates and other physical activities carry inherent risks. You participate in all classes and studio activities entirely at your own risk. Before attending your first session, you must complete our health questionnaire and disclose any medical conditions, injuries or pregnancy that may affect your ability to participate safely.

Our instructors are qualified professionals, but they are not medical practitioners. If you have concerns about whether a particular class is appropriate for you, consult your doctor before attending. You are responsible for listening to your body during practice and modifying or stopping any exercise that causes pain or discomfort.

Heated classes are conducted at elevated temperatures. If you experience dizziness, nausea or any unusual symptoms during a heated session, stop immediately, leave the room and inform a staff member. We recommend staying well hydrated before, during and after heated practice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, One Hot Yoga is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, attendance at classes or participation in any studio activity. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, loss of personal property left in the studio, or any data loss resulting from your use of nippocrat.com.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees relating to the provision of services with due care and skill.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on nippocrat.com — including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, videos and software — is the property of One Hot Yoga or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark and intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any material on this website without our prior written consent.

The Nippocrat name and logo are trademarks of One Hot Yoga. Unauthorised use of these marks is strictly prohibited.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify class schedules, pricing, membership structures and these Terms at any time. Material changes to pricing or membership conditions will be communicated to active members via email at least fourteen days before they take effect. Changes to the class timetable may be made with shorter notice and will be reflected on the website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State in which our studio operates. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
